About Course

This is an online course via live classes for O Level 1123/ IGCSE 0510 English students.

Why Is Mastering Directed Writing Important ?
The directed writing section is a compulsory section that tests students’ ability to write non-fiction functional writings for different purposes and audiences. This section carries a significant score and one should be well prepared for it as there is no choice in this section of the writing paper. Many students assume that just knowing the formats is enough which is certainly not true. Once students are well aware of the features, formats, structure, language and dos and don’ts of the directed writings, they can feel confident while attempting their writing paper.

How Will This Course Boost Your Directed Writing Skills?

  • Directed writing formats and planning methods.
  • A* writing strategies to compose directed writing answers.

  • Writing techniques and language for report, speech, magazine article, and formal and informal letters.
  • To understand assessment criteria of the directed writing section and compose answers to score a higher band.
